Kravets converted to Islam, Reeana news agency reports with reference to
his close friends.
"Valery Nikolayevich is a very positive and sincere person. He
considers this step very seriously. He even has a copy of Quran in his
office. Although he doesn’t publicize it, for fear of provocations on
the subject,"-said the source.
It is known that the Minister offered his resignation on April 24 and is about to leave his post.
Valeriy Kravets co-owner of the company "AVK" - one of the largest
Ukrainian manufacturers of confectionery, is considered the richest
minister in the government of Anatoly Mogilev. In 2011, with $ 89.3
million of wealth, he was on the 106th place in the list of Ukraine
richest people.
